B/B Riviera 281 is located in Palazzo San Teodoro in the Riviera di Chiaia, the residential area bordering on Naples’ attractive waterfront. King Ferdinand IV took a liking to the Chiaia area in the 1700s and it subsequently became favoured by noble and aristocratic families. Their neoclassical palazzi overlooking the sea are still visible today along the magnificent waterfront. Palazzo San Teodoro was designed in the early 19th century by Gugliemo Bechi, the renowned Tuscan architect who also designed the Real Villa for the Bourbon royal family. Riviera281 overlooks the spectacular public gardens of the Real Villa. |
